Faith & Celebration

India’s festivals are shaped by traditions, communities and the places in which they unfold. Through my photography, I move from widely celebrated festivals to lesser-known traditions, exploring the many ways in which faith and culture are experienced and shared.

I am drawn to the people and atmosphere surrounding these occasions—the rituals, colours, gestures and quieter moments that exist alongside the spectacle. These photographs are an ongoing exploration of faith, culture and community, and of the ways in which traditions bring people together.
